ON THE DAY
I'll show up at the agreed location and collaborate with you to capture real, meaningful moments that you can re-live for years to come. Rest assured, it's going to be fun. It's my sole purpose to help you feel relaxed and free to be your truest self. I'll be sure to give you just the right amount of direction so you feel like your most beautiful self, with a few little tricks and techniques to help you forget about the camera and focus on connecting with your loved ones.
I promise you, pretty much everyone tells me that they aren't photogenic and are super awkward in front of the camera, and I totally understand. However, that's what I'm here for. Trust me, having your photo taken doesn't have to be weird or awkward. I know we'll have the BEST time, and by the end of our time together we'll be good friends.

MY APPROACH
It's not about me.
I have learned over the years that photography is not about me, or the photos that I want to have in my portfolio. It's not about pretty sunsets, waterfalls, or the perfect flowy dress. To me, photography is about so much more. It's about human connection. It's about capturing the true essence of you, and the love that you have for yourself and the people around you. It's about telling your story exactly the way it should be told, in a way that's meaningful to you.
Are you a fun-loving couple that loves to go on adventures together? Great, let's go jump in the ocean and have some crazy fun together. Are you a romantic couple that loves to snuggle by the fire? Amazing, let's grab a blanket and get in the nook! Are you getting married in a barn so you can dance the night away with 300 of your closest friends, or do you want to elope in the mountains and exchange vows on the edge of a cliff? Maybe your family loves to go on weekly trips to the beach, or picnics in the park are more your thing. You are always at the forefront of my mind, and I'll make sure that our experience together is tailored to the kind of person you are so you feel as comfortable as possible, and we can focus on creating some authentic memories you'll value forever.

YOU + ME
To get the best out of our time together, I'm going to invite you to be present and to trust me. As a photographer, and as a friend. The more trust you place in me, the more fun we'll have and the better and more meaningful your images will be.
Try to let go of your expectations around the kids being perfect little angels for the whole shoot. Don't worry if your hair gets a little windswept, or if the rain creeps in on your wedding day. Let's shift the focus to connecting with your loved ones, and enjoying the quality time you've carved out to spend with them.

LIMITED AVAILABILITY
The truth is, I only take on a few weddings per year, and a few additional family and couples sessions per month.
The reason I do this is because I invest a lot of time and energy into my clients, and I want to be able to give each and every one of you the attention you deserve. I'm not just a photographer, I'm also here to help you with timelines, location scouting, styling, and preparation.
Because of this, I have found that most of my couples and family clients have become long-lasting friends, and I've been lucky enough to document their anniversaries and their growing families. I like to keep some space in my calendar for these sessions, and the capacity to provide fast turnaround times.
